Based on its founding aspirations, RABBANICA focuses on publishing scientific studies on Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Islamic studies in general, which have been developed through articles, research reports, and book reviews. <p><em>This study discusses the schools of thought related to the perspectives of heredity and environment in human growth and development, drawing on both Western ideologies and Islamic perspectives. Human growth and development are influenced by two primary factors: heredity, or genetic factors (nature), and environmental or educational factors (nurture). Before the terms heredity and environment were introduced, there were already schools of thought supporting both perspectives, and this debate has existed since ancient times. However, to this day, Western scholars remain divided in their opinions and beliefs about which influence dominates human growth and development. The methodology of this study employs content analysis of data obtained from books and documents on the history of schools of thought related to heredity and environment. The data focuses on factors influencing human growth and development by examining the relevant schools of thought. The findings of the study indicate that the schools of Nativism and Naturalism support the heredity perspective, whereas the school of Empiricism supports the environmental perspective. This contradiction and diversity of beliefs have led to the emergence of a new school of thought that combines heredity and environment, known as the school of Convergence. In essence, growth and development involve several aspects, including physical, emotional, mental, linguistic, social, personality, and moral dimensions, which are influenced by both biological and environmental factors. This is because these two factors complement each other and are closely interconnected with the level of human development.</em></p> <p>Kajian ini membincangkan tentang aliran-aliran yang berkaitan dengan perspektif baka dan persekitaran dalam pertumbuhan dan perkembangan manusia berdasarkan ideologi Barat dan Perspektif Islam. Manusia tumbuh dan berkembang berdasarkan dua pengaruh dominan iaitu faktor baka atau genetik (<em>nature</em>) dan faktor persekitaran dan pendidikan (<em>nurture</em>). Sebelum istilah baka dan persekitaran diperkenalkan, telah wujud aliran-aliran yang menyokong kedua-dua perspektif ini dan percanggahan tersebut telah wujud sejak dahulu lagi. Walau bagaimanapun, sehingga kini ahli-ahli sarjana Barat masih lagi bercanggah pendapat dan kepercayaan tentang pengaruh yang mana paling mendominasi dalam pertumbuhan dan perkembangan manusia. Metodologi penulisan ini menggunakan kaedah analisis kandungan terhadap data yang diperolehi dari buku dan dokumen tentang sejarah aliran-aliran yang berkaitan dengan baka dan persekitaran. Data yang diperolehi adalah memfokuskan kepada faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan manusia dengan meneliti aliran-aliran berkaitan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan aliran Nativisme dan Naturalisme menyokong perspektif baka. Manakala aliran Empirisisme menyokong perspektif persekitaran. Percanggahan dan kepercayaan tersebut telah mewujudkan aliran baru yang menghasilkan percantuman kedua-dua baka dan persekitaran iaitu aliran konvergensi. Hakikatnya pertumbuhan dan perkembangan melibatkan beberapa aspek seperti fizikal, emosi, mental, bahasa, sosial, keperibadian dan moral dipengaruhi oleh kedua-dua faktor biologi dan persekitaran. <p>This study aims to investigate the reasons behind healthcare practitioners’ limited knowledge of Shariah principles and analyse how high operational costs impact the proper functioning of Shariah-approved hospitals. Using qualitative methods, the study used semi-structured interviews and field observations with five purposively selected health care professionals, hospital management and clinical staff who were directly engaged in Shariah-compliant practices. The results unveil essential discrepancies resulting from the dearth of specialised training and the unavailability of systematic, actionable guidelines articulating the implementation of Shariah norms in clinical spaces. Moreover, sourcing halal-certified medical supplies has a financial burden, impacting operational efficiency. To address this issue, the study proposed an integrated approach with three interconnected pillars: designing and instituting systematic Shariah-mindset training programmes; the use of Shariah-compliant financial mechanisms such as zakat and waqf for strategic financial utilisation; and establishing standardised operational guidelines specifically to develop Shariah compliance in the healthcare management approach.</p>Mohd Khairul Ridhuan Mohd FadzilHamidah Mat

<p><em>The partisan approach is a method of contemporary politics. This approach was born from the electoral democracy system practised in most countries worldwide. The need to establish political parties in a democratic system becomes a priority when the system considers the number of majorities as a determinant of policy approval. In this regard, Malaysia is among the vast majority of Islamic countries that practice a parliamentary democracy system as an official political system. This reality has caused polemics and confusion regarding the necessity of practising partisan politics to often occur among Muslims, even to the point of causing criticism of Muslims involved in it. Among the main confusions is the claim that partisan politics is not a method of politics practised by the Prophet Muhammad SAW, without denying that he was a politician. Therefore, this study addresses this confusion based on the perspective of the Quran and Sunnah. For this purpose, this study analyses the words Hizbiyyah and Jama‘ah using the descriptive content analysis method. This qualitative study will also analyse the arguments to highlight the relationship between partisan politics and Islamic law. The study results found that the practice of partisan politics is part of the Islamic approach and carries the same maqasid as those practised by the Prophet Muhammad SAW. The conclusion is that Muslims need to get involved with political parties that conform to the concepts of Hizbiyyah Islamiyyah and Jamaah to ensure the sovereignty of Islam throughout the world.</em></p> <p>Pendekatan kepartian adalah satu kaedah berpolitik masa kini. Pendekatan ini lahir daripada sistem demokrasi pilihan raya yang diamalkan di kebanyakan negara di seluruh dunia. Keperluan untuk menubuhkan parti politik dalam medan demokrasi menjadi keutamaan apabila sistem tersebut mengambil kira bilangan majoriti sebagai penentu kelulusan sesebuah dasar. Sehubungan itu, Malaysia merupakan di antara majoriti besar negara-negara Islam yang mengamalkan sistem demokrasi berparlimen sebagai sistem politik rasmi. Realiti berkenaan menyebabkan polemik kekeliruan berkaitan keharusan amalan politik kepartian sering terjadi dalam kalangan umat Islam, bahkan sehingga menimbulkan kritikan ke atas umat Islam yang terlibat di dalamnya. Antara kekeliruan utama adalah dakwaan bahawa politik kepartian bukanlah kaedah berpolitik yang diamalkan oleh Rasulullah SAW, tanpa menafikan Baginda SAW sendiri berpolitik. Justeru, kajian ini dikemukakan bagi menangani kekeliruan berkenaan berdasarkan perspektif al-Quran dan Sunnah. Bagi tujuan tersebut, kajian ini menampilkan analisis terhadap perkataan <em>Hizbiyyah</em> dan <em>Jama‘ah </em>berasaskan metode analisis kandungan secara deskriptif. Kajian kualitatif ini juga akan menganalisis hujah-hujah bagi mengetengahkan relasi antara politik kepartian dengan syariat Islam. Hasil kajian mendapati amalan politik kepartian termasuk dalam pendekatan yang Islamik serta membawa <em>maqasid </em>yang sama dengan apa yang diamalkan oleh Nabi Muhammad SAW. <p><em>This study explores the development of Islamic missionary efforts (dakwah) among the Orang Asli community in Kelantan, focusing on the initiatives undertaken by Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Istiadat Melayu Kelantan (MAIK) from 1981 to 2025. Employing a qualitative research design, data were collected through document analysis involving academic articles, journals, meeting minutes, theses, books, and other scholarly materials. Additionally, unstructured interviews were conducted to support and enrich the data. The study also incorporates insights from previous research concerning the initial stages of dakwah among the Orang Asli in remote forest areas. However, the core emphasis is on the official involvement of MAIK in these efforts starting in 1981. The findings highlight significant progress achieved through these dakwah initiatives, particularly the substantial increase in conversions to Islam among the Orang Asli, reaching a recorded growth of 64.8% by 2023. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of the history and evolution of dakwah among the Orang Asli in Kelantan and aims to serve as a reference for future academic and community-based endeavours.</em></p> <p>Makalah ini menukilkan perkembangan dakwah Orang Asli di negeri Kelantan yang telah dilaksanakan oleh MAIK bermula tahun 1981 sehingga 2024. Dengan menggunakan kaedah kualitatif yang menggunakan instrumen kaedah pengumpulan data, rujukan kajian tertumpu kepada artikel, jurnal, minit mesyuarat, tesis, buku dan bahan bacaan ilmiah yang lain. Selain itu kaedah temubual tidak berstruktur turut dilakukan untuk mendapatkan dapatan kajian, penulisan ini turut mencatatkan beberapa dapatan yang diperolehi daripada pengkaji terdahulu berkaitan tarikh permulaan dakwah kepada masyarakat Orang Asli di belantara. Namun kajian ini memfokuskan tahun permulaan penglibatan MAIK secara rasmi dalam arena dakwah masyarakat Orang Asli iaitu pada tahun 1981 sehingga 2025. Hasil dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa terdapat perkembangan positif yang diperolehi melalui usaha dakwah yang telah dilaksanakan antaranya ialah pertambahan jumlah pengislaman masyarakat Orang Asli dan kenaikan peratusan pengislaman masyarakat Orang Asli adalah sebanyak 64.8 peratus pada tahun 2023. 2025-05-202025-05-20616077Kritikan Terhadap Buku Taysīr Muṣṭalāh al-Ḥadīth: Analisis Karya Islāh al-Istilāh Oleh Tāriq ‘Iwaḍullah

<p><em>The science of Muṣtalah al-Ḥadīth is one of the most important branches in the study of hadith. Therefore, the selection of a quality curriculum is crucial for fostering a holistic understanding among students. In Malaysian higher education institutions, the chosen syllabus for this subject is the book Taysīr Muṣtalah al-Ḥadīth by Mahmud al-Ṭaḥḥān. However, Ṭāriq ‘Iwaḍullah has authored a critical work scrutinizing Taysīr Muṣtalah al-Ḥadīth, particularly in the discussion of definitions of terms, raising concerns about the credibility of the book to continue as the main curriculum. Consequently, this study represents a critical analysis of Islāh al-Istilāh by Tāriq ‘Iwaḍullah to determine the relevance of Taysīr Muṣtalah al-Ḥadīth as the primary syllabus in Malaysian higher education institutions. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing documentation as the data collection method and content analysis as the means of data analysis. The study concludes that Ṭāriq highlights two main issues: first, al-Ṭaḥḥān’s approach of sufficing with a single definition without discussing differing scholarly views, and second, the accuracy of several definitions that are perceived as inconsistent with classical scholarly perspectives. Despite these criticisms, the study finds that al-Ṭaḥḥān consciously adopted a simplified approach to facilitate understanding for beginner students. The study suggests conducting similar analyses on other Muṣtalah al-Ḥadīth texts to ensure the discourse on hadith sciences continues to evolve critically and dynamically.</em></p> <p>Ilmu <em>Muṣtalah al-Hadīth </em>merupakan salah satu cabang ilmu terpenting dalam hadith. Justeru pemilihan silibus berkualiti bakal menatijahkan kefahaman holistik kepada para pelajar. Di Institusi Pendidikan Tinggi (IPT) Malaysia, silibus yang menjadi pilihan dalam subjek ini adalah buku <em>Taysīr Muṣtalah al-Hadīth </em>oleh Mahmud al-Ṭaḥḥān. Namun demikian, Ṭāriq ‘Iwaḍullah telah mengarang satu karya kritikan terhadap buku Taysīr <em>Muṣtalah al-Ḥadīth </em>khususnya dalam perbahasan definisi-definisi istilah seterusnya menimbulkan tanda tanya mengenai kredibiliti buku tersebut untuk terus digunakan sebagai silibus utama. Oleh yang demikian, kajian ini merupakan analisis kritikal terhadap karya <em>Islāh al-Istilāh</em> oleh Ṭāriq ‘Iwaḍullah bagi mengenal pasti relevansi buku <em>Taysīr Muṣtalah al-Hadīth </em>terus dijadikan silibus utama di institusi pengajian tinggi Malaysia. Kajian ini mengaplikasikan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan kaedah dokumentasi sebagai pengumpulan data dan menjadikan metode analisis kandungan sebagai cara menganalisa data. Hasil daripada kajian merumuskan Ṭāriq mengemukakan dua isu utama, yang pertama; pendekatan al-Ṭaḥḥān yang memadai dengan satu takrif tanpa membahaskan perbezaan pandangan para sarjana. Manakala yang kedua; ketepatan beberapa takrifan yang dianggap tidak selari dengan pandangan ilmuan silam. Walaupun kritikan tersebut dikemukakan, kajian ini mendapati bahawa al-Ṭaḥḥān secara sedar memilih pendekatan ringkas bagi memudahkan pemahaman pelajar pada peringkat permulaan. <p><em>Waqf is an Islamic financial instrument with great potential </em><em>to address current and future </em><em>of economic pressure. In reality, not all institutions can implement it and </em><em>fully capitalize on its potential. One of the key reasons for this is that the waqf way of life and culture have not been instilled in children from a young age, resulting in a generation without a waqf-oriented mindset.</em> <em>Drawing from the experience </em><em>of </em><em>Pondok Modern</em> <em>Darussalam, Gontor [PMDG], it was developed from waqf funds by a generation of waqf-minded </em><em>individuals</em><em>. To date, this waqf fund has become a significant pillar in the management of education, medicine and plantations in Gontor. </em><em>More importantly</em><em>, the sustainability of waqf in Gontor is supported by one of the five main principles known as the five souls (panca jiwa), namely sincerity. From this </em><em>principle</em><em>, the concept of the basyari waqf was born. This article aims to highlight both the potential and obstacles </em><em>in implementing </em><em>Gontor’s basyari waqf model in Malaysia. </em><em>To achieve this,</em><em> a qualitative research design </em><em>was employed</em><em>, with data collected through</em><em> document analysis, direct observation, and semi-structured interviews</em><em>. </em><em>The data was subsequently analyzed using content analysis. </em><em>The study found that the Basyari Waqf has the potential to be successfully realised in Malaysia, provided that it is initiated by the highest authorities to instil a waqf mindset among employees. </em><em>Obstacles to implementation </em><em>can be overcome </em><em>with careful planning and supporting documents certified by law. </em><em>The study’s implications suggest that implementing the Basyari Waqf model can foster a culture of endowment and optimize the utilization of voluntary human resources. Additionally, it encourages policymakers to adopt this model as a reference in the development of the waqf system in Malaysia.</em></p> <p>Wakaf ialah instrumen kewangan Islam yang berpotensi besar dalam menangani tekanan ekonomi. Namun, pelaksanaannya terbatas kerana budaya berwakaf tidak dipupuk sejak kecil. Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor (PMDG) membuktikan kejayaan wakaf apabila institusinya dibangunkan dan dibiayai oleh generasi berminda wakaf. Hingga kini, dana ini menjadi tunjang sektor pendidikan, perubatan dan perladangan, berasaskan prinsip ikhlas dalam Panca Jiwa yang melahirkan konsep wakaf basyari. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetengahkan potensi dan halangan pelaksanaan wakaf basyari model PMDG di Malaysia. Bersesuaian dengan tujuan tersebut, reka bentuk kajian kualitatif digunakan dengan sokongan data daripada analisis dokumen, pemerhatian langsung, dan temu bual separa berstruktur. Seterusnya, data yang diperoleh dianalisis melalui kaedah analisis kandungan. Dapatan kajian mendapati bahawa wakaf <em>basyari</em> memiliki potensi untuk direalisasikan di Malaysia dengan syarat ia perlu dimulai oleh pihak tertinggi sehingga membentuk minda wakaf dalam kalangan pekerja. Halangan pelaksanaannya boleh diatasi jika dirancang dengan teliti berserta dokumen sokongan yang diperakui oleh undang-undang. Oleh itu, kajian ini mencadangkan agar institusi di Malaysia mencontohi model wakaf <em>basyari</em> PMDG dalam usaha membangunkan model wakaf basyari di Malaysia. Implikasi kajian menunjukkan bahawa penerapan model wakaf basyari berpotensi membudayakan amalan wakaf serta mengoptimumkan penggunaan sumber tenaga manusia secara sukarela. <p><em>The Risalah An-Nur is a compilation of thoughts by the prominent Turkish Islamic scholar and thinker,Said Nursi. The life challenges he faced span two distinct phases: “Old Said,” which is associated with his direct involvement in political affairs during the rule of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and “New Said,” marking a turning point in his outlook where he shifted focus toward writing the Risalah An-Nur. This article aims to examine how Said Nursi interacted with weak (da'if) hadiths in his writings by analysing the principles and criteria he applied in their use. This study employs a library-based methodology, focusing on selected texts within the Risalah An-Nur that contain weak (da'if) hadiths and comparing them with authoritative hadith compilations from Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama‘ah to establish a foundation for his usage. The findings indicate that Said Nursi did not entirely reject weak (da'if) hadiths; instead, he employed them particularly in the context of virtues of deeds (faḍā'il al-a‘māl), in line with the stance of the majority of scholars (jumhūr ‘ulamā’). He used such hadiths to reinforce moral and spiritual messages, but not as binding legal evidence. In several instances, Said Nursi cited hadiths without mentioning their classification, yet the contextual usage suggests that he was aware of their level of authenticity. His focus was on the spiritual messages embedded in the hadiths, considering their educational and transformative impact on the soul, despite the hadiths being weak in terms of chain of narration (sanad). This study concludes with a reflection on Said Nursi’s contribution to contemporary Islamic thought, particularly in enriching the discourse on the role and priority of hadith in the life of the Muslim community.</em></p> <p>Risalah Annur merupakan garapan dari pemikiran tokoh seorang ulama dan pemikir Islam terkemuka dari Turki iaitu Said Nursi. Cabaran dalam hidup yang beliau hadapi melalui dua dimensi kehidupan berbeza, iaitu Said Lama yang dikaitkan penglibatannya secara langsung dalam kerajaan pada era pemerintahan Mustafa Kamal ATaturk dan Said Baru iaitu titik pertukaran pendangannya ke dunia penulisan kitab Risalah Annur. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengupas bagaimana Said Nursi berinteraksi dengan hadis daif dalam karyanya, iaitu dengan menganalisis prinsip dan kriteria penggunaan hadis daif tersebut. Kajian ini menggunakan metode kajian kepustakaan, dengan menumpukan kepada analisis beberapa kitab Risalah Annur yang mengandungi hadis daif dan kitab-kitab hadis dari Ahlu Sunnah wal Jemaah untuk menjadi asas kepada penggunaan hadis daif. Hasil kajian mendapati Said Nursi dilihat tidak menolak hadis daif secara total, sebaliknya menggunakannya dalam konteks <em>fadhail al-a‘mal</em> (kelebihan amalan), selaras dengan pandangan jumhur ulama. Beliau menggunakan hadis daif sebagai penguat dalam menyampaikan mesej moral dan rohani namun tidak menjadikannya sebagai dasar hukum yang mengikat. Dalam beberapa tempat, beliau menukil hadis tanpa menjelaskan statusnya tetapi pemilihan konteks menunjukkan bahawa beliau memahami batas autoritatif hadis tersebut. Said Nursi memberikan penekanan kepada mesej spiritual yang terkandung dalam hadis, dengan mengambil kira kesan didikan kepada jiwa walaupun hadis itu daif dari sudut sanad. <p><em>Multi-level marketing (MLM) businesses remain popular among today's society. This may be because this business is known to contribute significantly to increasing national income, in addition to the profits earned by companies and individuals involved in it. The involvement of various levels of society in this business has prompted the Malaysian Islamic Development Department (JAKIM) to provide comprehensive guidance in accordance with Islamic law. However, this study found that no previous academic studies have specifically described the MLM business from a maṣlaḥah perspective. Therefore, this highlight study aims to reveal the need for an assessment from a maṣlaḥah perspective of the MLM business, as it is a form of business that differs from conventional businesses and is said to provide numerous benefits while simultaneously posing disadvantages to society. This qualitative study employs thematic content analysis methods, utilising the library data collection method (library research) in its entirety. The findings of the study reveal that existing studies on MLM primarily discuss MLM businesses from the perspective of Islamic law without being linked to the perspectives of maṣlaḥah or mafsadah. Therefore, an assessment based on a maṣlaḥah perspective is necessary to further increase the public's understanding of the reality of the MLM business, while also preventing any manipulation of the maṣlaḥah element by any party.</em></p> <p>Perniagaan <em>Multi Level Marketing (MLM)</em> masih popular dalam kalangan masyarakat masa kini. Ini mungkin disebabkan perniagaan ini dikenal pasti dapat memberi sumbangan yang ketara kepada peningkatan pendapatan negara selain dari keuntungan yang diperolehi oleh syarikat mahu pun individu yang terlibat dengannya. Penglibatan pelbagai lapisan masyarakat dalam perniagaan ini mendorong pihak Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia (JAKIM) menyediakan panduan lengkap mengikut syarak. Namun, kajian ini mendapati tiada kajian-kajian ilmiah terdahulu telah menghuraikan perniagaan MLM secara khususnya dari sudut maṣlaḥah. Justeru, kajian sorotan yang dikemukakan ini bertujuan untuk menzahirkan keperluan kepada penilaian dari sudut <em>maṣlaḥah</em> terhadap perniagaan MLM memandangkan ia merupakan satu bentuk perniagaan berbeza dengan perniagaan konvensional dan dikatakan banyak mendapatkan faedah keuntungan dalam masa yang sama turut mengundang keburukan kepada masyarakat. Kajian berbentuk kualitatif ini menggunakan metode analisis kandungan secara tematik dengan mengaplikasi kaedah pengumpulan data perpustakaan (<em>library research</em>) secara sepenuhnya. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa kajian-kajian sedia ada berkaitan MLM hanya membincangkan mengenai perniagaan MLM dari sudut penilaian hukum syarak sahaja tanpa dikaitkan dengan perspektif <em>maṣlaḥah</em> atau pun <em>mafsadah</em>. <p><em>The study “Challenges of Teaching the Arabic Language in the Era of Globalisation in the Malay Muslim Community” explores the significance of Arabic in preserving Islamic identity, particularly within the Malay Muslim context. For that purpose, this qualitative study uses a thematic content analysis approach. In this context, this study recognises Arabic as essential for understanding the Qur’an and Sunnah, and it addresses the challenges that Arabic language teachers face in fostering student interest amid the distractions of globalisation. Global cultural influences, particularly the dominance of English and Western ideologies, have diminished students' enthusiasm for Arabic and eroded their religious identity. Drawing on over 30 years of teaching experience, the researcher examines the Malay Muslim community’s efforts to uphold Islamic and ethnic traditions, including the study of Qur’anic Arabic through mosques and religious schools. The study outlines the impact of globalisation on Malaysian society, highlighting how it threatens Islamic beliefs and promotes secular ideologies. It also examines the impact of mass media and educational systems on undermining Arabic language learning and Islamic values. The final section presents strategies for overcoming these challenges, emphasising Arabic’s religious importance and countering the inferiority complex associated with non-Arabic languages. The study concludes by stressing the urgent need to revitalise Arabic education to safeguard Islamic teachings and resist ideological shifts such as liberalism and secularism, which are partly fueled by a lack of Arabic proficiency. Employing descriptive, analytical, and critical methodologies, the research underscores Arabic’s central role in preserving Islamic faith and identity within the Malay Muslim community.</em></p> <p>تتناول الدراسة بعنوان <em>"</em><em>تحديات تعليم اللغة العربية في عصر العولمة لدى المجتمع الملايوي المسلم</em><em>"</em> أهمية اللغة العربية في الحفاظ على الهوية الإسلامية، وخصوصًا في سياق المجتمع الملايوي المسلم. ولتحقيق هذه الغاية، تستخدم هذه الدراسة النوعية نهج تحليل المحتوى الموضوعي. وفي هذا السياق، هذه الدراسة تعتبر أن العربية ضرورية لفهم القرآن والسنة، تسلط الدراسة الضوء على التحديات التي يواجهها معلمو اللغة العربية في غرس حب اللغة لدى الطلاب في ظل مغريات العولمة. نتيجة لتأثيرات الثقافة العالمية، خاصة هيمنة اللغة الإنجليزية والأيديولوجيات الغربية، تراجع اهتمام الطلاب باللغة العربية، مما ساهم في إضعاف الهوية الدينية. ومن خلال خبرة الباحث الممتدة لأكثر من ثلاثين عامًا في تعليم العربية، تتناول الدراسة جهود المجتمع الملايوي في الحفاظ على التقاليد الإسلامية والعرقية، بما في ذلك تعلم اللغة العربية القرآنية عبر المساجد والمدارس الدينية. تستعرض الدراسة تأثير العولمة على المجتمع الماليزي، وتركز على تهديدها للعقيدة الإسلامية ونشر الأيديولوجيات الليبرالية والعلمانية. كما تبحث في دور وسائل الإعلام والمؤسسات التعليمية في تقويض تعليم اللغة العربية والقيم الإسلامية. في القسم الأخير، تقدم الدراسة استراتيجيات لمواجهة هذه التحديات، منها التأكيد على الأهمية الدينية للعربية، والتصدي لعقدة النقص المرتبطة باستخدام اللغات غير العربية. وتختتم الدراسة بالتأكيد على ضرورة إحياء تعليم اللغة العربية من أجل صون التعاليم الإسلامية والتصدي للتحولات الفكرية مثل الليبرالية والعلمانية، التي ساعد على انتشارها ضعف إتقان اللغة العربية. وتعتمد الدراسة على مناهج وصفية وتحليلية ونقدية، وتؤكد على دور العربية المحوري في الحفاظ على العقيدة والهوية الإسلامية في المجتمع الملايوي المسلم.</p>Zheng Bin Yunus Abdullah Ma

<p>The current scenario is witnessing halal food culture being widely practised by Muslims and non-Muslim because of their confidence in its quality in terms of safety, hygiene, and nutrient composition. The availability of halal food becomes a positive factor in attracting tourists, whether at the domestic or international level, when selecting a travel destination. Recognise that, in this scenario, some authorities are interested in developing gastronomy tourism to provide a joyful experience for tourists. The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of halal food culture and its relationship to the gastronomy field. Secondly, the researcher also attempts to identify the sources of <em>halal</em> food gastronomy from a <em>Shari’ah</em> perspective. To write this paper, library research has been conducted by reviewing secondary sources. The researcher has applied the thematic content analysis technique to analyse the selected library sources. <p><em>In this fast-paced digital era, social media, particularly TikTok, has become a primary platform for disseminating information, including religious teachings. This article examines the role of digital influencers on TikTok in disseminating the Quran and Hadith, as well as their interactions with followers. Utilising a qualitative design, the study involves influencers who are active and have a significant following in the field of Islamic knowledge dissemination. The findings indicate that influencers’ digital presence on TikTok, as a medium for disseminating the Quran and Hadith, is characterised by the portrayal of the influencer's character, interaction and engagement between the influencer and followers, as well as creativity in delivery. Additionally, a sample focus is provided on selected TikTok accounts in the field of the Quran and Hadith. However, they also face challenges such as the risk of spreading misinformation and the limitations of short video formats. Nevertheless, TikTok offers opportunities to reach a broad audience and build supportive communities. This article aims to provide in-depth insights into how TikTok can be effectively used to educate and influence the younger generation in practising Islamic teachings.</em></p> <p>Dalam era digital yang pesat, media sosial khususnya <em>TikTok</em>, telah menjadi platform utama untuk penyebaran maklumat, termasuk ajaran agama. Artikel ini mengkaji peranan pempengaruh digital di <em>TikTok</em> dalam menyebarkan al-Quran dan Hadis, serta cara mereka berinteraksi dengan pengikut. Menggunakan reka bentuk kualitatif, kajian ini melibatkan pempengaruh yang aktif dan mempunyai pengikut yang signifikan dalam bidang penyebaran ilmu Islam. Dapatan menunjukkan bahawa peranan pempengaruh digital di <em>TikTok</em> sebagai medium penyebaran al-Quran dan Hadis dikenal pasti melalui penampilan karakter pempengaruh, interaksi dan penglibatan antara pempengaruh dan pengikut serta kreativiti dalam penyampaian. Selain itu, kajian ini memberi fokus kepada akaun TikTok terpilih yang memainkan peranan signifikan dalam penyebaran ilmu Islam. Namun, pempengaruh juga menghadapi cabaran seperti risiko penyebaran maklumat salah dan keterbatasan format video pendek. Walaupun demikian, <em>TikTok</em> menawarkan peluang untuk menjangkau audiens yang luas dan membina komuniti yang saling menyokong. <p>This article is a review study that explores the relationship between sharia compliance in seeking sustenance and the mental well-being of individual Muslims. In the era of materialism that challenges spiritual values, some Muslims are trapped in seeking sustenance without paying attention to the aspects of halal and <em>haram </em>(forbidden), which ultimately has a negative impact on the stability of the soul and mental health. Based on a qualitative method through a thematic content analysis approach, this article collects and analyses various scientific sources, including previous studies and a compilation of verses of the Quran and Hadith that discuss the concept of sustenance and psychological well-being from an Islamic perspective. The study findings show that sustenance obtained in a sharia-compliant manner contributes significantly to emotional calm, reduces stress and guilt, and strengthens the spiritual relationship with Allah. This article also concludes that the <em>maqasid</em> principle of Shariah plays a crucial role in ensuring a balance in life by balancing aspects of religion, reason, and the soul. This study emphasises the importance of integrating Islamic values into mental health systems, education, and social policies.
